Vehicular warfare in the palm of your hands | First Impressions - War Thunder Mobile

The aiming mechanics mirror the main game, complete with drop and aim indicators, while adjustable zoom and tracking features enhance precision. Driving mechanics feel intuitive with the translated touch controls, with improved driver behavior and visual arrows around the tank aiding navigation. Observation tools like death cams and enemy hit cams enhance post-battle analysis.

The progression system has been streamlined—instead of grinding individual vehicles, you unlock lineups of four, leveling them up to unlock more vehicles and ammunition types. This shared lineup approach simplifies the grind and allows players to progress across nations and multiple vehicles simultaneously. The maps also mirror the main game but are slightly modified to cater mobile gaming’s bite-sized nature, offering faster-paced battles with increased spawn points and closer starting positions.

So far, War Thunder Mobile definitely delivers an authentic War Thunder experience to mobile devices. Rather than simply porting the game 1:1, it intelligently adapts it for an enjoyable and streamlined mobile gaming experience. Currently, the primary game modes only feature ground and naval warfare, but I hope aircraft will be added in the future, and soon.

Masterclass in Anti-Fatigue Open World Design | Ghost of Yotei Review

Ghost of Yotei, the newest installment in the acclaimed feudal Japan action series, shifts the stage to Ezo/Hokkaido Japan, introducing a new protagonist, Atsu, and a razor-sharp revenge narrative. Set during a tumultuous period, the game follows Atsu as she embraces the path of the Ghost to hunt down her targets. While built upon the foundations of its predecessors, Yotei immediately distinguishes itself by prioritizing refined gameplay flow and anti-fatigue design over overwhelming map density, setting it up as a truly modern open-world experience.

The Most Creative, Imaginative, Co-op Game To Date | Split Fiction Review

Split Fiction is an exclusively two-player experience defined by its literal split screen. One player navigates a high-fantasy setting of elves, dragons, and ancient ruins. The other exists in a neon-drenched, chrome-plated sci-fi world full of robots and laser grids. The brilliance lies in how these two separate realities constantly overlap, making it arguably one of the most creative level and game mechanic designs for a co-op game, or any video game, ever.
